StandUP is a great name for our organisation: http://www.standup.org.nz

We initially chose it because in 7 letters it communicated what we stand for.

The problem is, a similar name is also used by a union youth group in NZ. Ideally, we would have a unique name so that our work doesn’t get confused in the media. Because we are just starting up, it is early enough to get a new name before we officially launch, and so we hereby are engaging “the power of the crowd” to help us solve this challenge!
